Committees and Trust Panel

The Board of Trustees has established committees and a Trust Panel, as described in the Scheme of Delegation; the members of the committees and the Panel are appointed by the Board of Trustees, and the current membership is set out below:

Audit Committee: Will Smith OBE, Bayo Alamu, Harrison Gorst, Thierry Gauthier (non-trustee) and Nick Watkiss.

Education Performance Committee: Karen Roche (Chair), James Dhawan, Sagana Kirisnathas, Karen Wespeiser and Will Smith OBE.

Finance and Operations Performance Committee: James Dhawan (Chair), Gary Miles, Bayo Alamu and Will Smith OBE.

Governance and Growth Performance Committee: James Dhawan, Harrison Gorst, Karen Roche and Will Smith OBE.

People and Pay Committee: Gary Miles (Chair), Karen Roche, Karen Wespieser and Will Smith OBE.

Trust Panel:
Panel from which members may be drawn to form an ad-hoc committee.

    1. All GLT trustees, ex officio. 

    2. All GLT headteachers, ex officio.

    3. GLT senior executives, ex-officio: Isabel Ambrose, Katherine Brown, Liz Easaw, Patrick Farmbrough, Jason Gregory, Jonathan Heap, Sam Hunter, Kate Ivackovic, Fiona Knight, Julie Loffstadt, Anita Martin, Amelie Thompson, Keith Wilson, Kim Hoodless.

Community Governance Committees: 

All schools in the Greenshaw Learning Trust have their own Community Governance Committee (CGC) which ensures that our schools remain deeply rooted in the communities they serve through independent, local assurance. The CGC also allows for feedback and communication between the school community and the Trust Board, and each school has a Link Trustee. 

CGC members do not get involved in the day-to-day running of the school. In addition to attending CGC meetings, CGC Members can be appointed to Champion roles including Pupil Voice, Staff Wellbeing, Destinations and Sustainability. CGC Members also serve on statutory panels that consider and review specific matters such as complaints, suspensions and exclusions.
