Sophie Dickin appointed as School Improvement Lead for SEND

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sophie Dickin as School Improvement Lead for SEND. 

Sophie will be joining the cross-phase SEND team after Easter and her main area of focus will be working with our primary schools. 

Sophie currently works as an Advisory Teacher for Gloucestershire County Council, providing support to schools in the development of their services for children with communication and interaction needs. She previously worked across primary schools in South London as a teacher, SENCO, Deputy Headteacher and is also a Specialist Leader of Education (SEND). As an SLE, she was the research lead for a cross-sector (mainstream/specialist) Laurel Trust research project aimed at enhancing outcomes and engagement for complex learners in a mainstream setting.
