Primary headteachers’ day

Our primary school leaders enjoyed a day of collaboration.

Last Friday, we were privileged to get our primary headteachers and school improvement team together in Reading and we thank those who gave us their time and valuable input. It was fantastic to not only spend some time together in person, but to hone in on our raising achievement strategy in a way to increase outcomes for the young people in our care.

Thank you to Will Smith, CEO coif Greenshaw Learning Trust, who opened the day with a dose of inspiration exploring the importance of defining our ‘wildly important goals’ and not forgetting the why.

We also had a series of breakouts on assessment of foundation subjects, maximising the impact of pupil progress meetings, trust-wide principles of assessment and data, and assessment and feedback for pupils with SEND.
