New headteachers appointed

Our new headteachers will take up their posts in September 2023.

Primary school appointments

Rob Hopkins (pictured left) has been appointed as the new Headteacher for Bandon Hill Primary School from 1 September 2023 and Clare Vincent (pictured centre) has been appointed as the new Headteacher for Wildmoor Heath Primary School, also from 1 September 2023.

Rob joined Bandon Hill as Deputy Headteacher in April of this year. Previously, he has been a highly successful leader, both as Acting Deputy and Assistant Headteacher at the GLF Schools Trust. He has led on raising standards and pupil premium provision and has a very strong vision for building on the existing strengths of the school. Currently, Deputy Headteacher at Wildmoor, Clare brings a child-centred approach to education, a strong expertise in teaching and learning and a passion for the school community.

Liz Easaw, Director of Primary Education at the Greenshaw Learning Trust, said: "I am thrilled that we have appointed Clare to lead Wildmoor Heath Primary School and Rob to lead Bandon Hill Primary School, joining our successful team of GLT primary headteachers from September. It has been a delight to work with Clare, seeing her excellent teaching as well as the impact of her leadership. Rob is an excellent communicator, brings great energy and vision and has a deep commitment to the Bandon Hill community. I very much look forward to working with both of them to continue to build on the schools' successes and drive further improvements."
