Wildmoor Heath School joins the Greenshaw Learning Trust
Wildmoor Heath School joined the Greenshaw Learning Trust Trust on 1 January.
Wildmoor Heath School in Crowthorne, Berkshire, joined the Greenshaw Learning Trust on 1 January 2018. It is a popular one-form entry primary school, rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.
The Governing Body of Wildmoor Heath School announced on 25 September 2017 that it had decided that the school should become an academy and join the Greenshaw Learning Trust.
The Governing Body consulted parents, staff and local stakeholders and in November, having considered the feedback, confirmed its decision. The necessary negotiations took place and agreement was reached between the school, the Department for Education, Bracknell Forest Council and the Greenshaw Learning Trust in December to enable the school to become an academy and join the Trust.
Mike Cooper, Chair of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, said: “We are delighted to welcome Wildmoor Heath School into the Greenshaw Learning Trust. Wildmoor Heath will both benefit from and contribute to close collaboration with nearby Brakenhale and Crown Wood schools and the other schools in our Trust.”
