Darren Reynolds joins Board of Trustees
The Trustees of the Greenshaw Learning Trust have appointed Darren Reynolds as a Trustee.
Darren is Professor of Health and Environment in the Centre for Research in Biosciences at the University of the West of England, Bristol, with over 17 years of experience in higher education and more than 25 years’ experience of R&D in science and technology.
He has a passion for teaching, learning, research and innovation, and over ten years of experience of chairing strategic committees within higher education and more recently in secondary education as Chair of the Local Governing Board for Yate Academy.
Darren, and his family live in Bristol.
Darren said: "I enjoy enormously communicating science to the wider public and dream of inspiring a generation of innovators and entrepreneurs that will change and shape the world in which we live."
Mike Cooper, chair of the Greenshaw Learning Trust said: "We are pleased to welcome Darren as our eighth Trustee. He brings a wealth of skills and experience in higher education to the Board, and he will play a key role as Yate Academy joins the Trust and we develop our educational activities in the Gloucestershire area."
