The Brakenhale School decides to join the Greenshaw Learning Trust
Brakenhale hopes to join the Trust in the spring.
The Greenshaw Learning Trust is pleased to announce that The Brakenhale School in Bracknell, Berkshire, has decided that it wants to become an academy and potentially join the Greenshaw Learning Trust in the spring of next year.
The Governing Body of The Brakenhale School has been considering their options and how to secure the best future for their school. They resolved that it would be in their best interests for their school to become an academy in partnership with the Greenshaw Learning Trust.
Mike Cooper, Chair of the Greenshaw Learning Trust said: “We are delighted that the Brakenhale School wants to join our Trust. The school will bring its particular perspective and expertise to enrich our family of schools.”
“This is an important step in the planned development of the Trust, bringing together a community of schools that want to collaborate for the benefit of all their students and staff.”
The Greenshaw Learning Trust will be working with The Brakenhale School to set out details of their proposals and to consult with stakeholders in January. Further information will be issued and posted on the Trust website in due course.
