Remote learning resources provided free to all Schools

#SupportUKSchools gives teachers urgent help with the difficult subject of remote learning

The Greenshaw Learning Trust (GLT) is committed to continuing to deliver the best possible education for our young people through remote learning. GLT has always been outward facing and open to sharing ideas and working collaboratively across the educational community - now more than ever.

Curriculum experts from across GLT have created a curriculum of lessons for children from Year 7 to 10 to ensure that schools can function remotely and effective learning can continue. These resources are now freely available to all secondary schools in the UK, allowing greater time for teachers across the country to focus on support, engagement and safeguarding.

The GLT’s secondary remote learning curriculum is freely available through the BeReady platform. With a simple one-click access, students will benefit from a wide range of high-quality lessons in English, maths (foundation, higher and express), science (foundation and higher), humanities, modern languages, PE and the arts.  The series of video lessons are structured around a low stakes quiz, direct teacher instruction, pupil tasks/practice and a lesson review to provide simple feedback of the student’s knowledge and understanding.

Examples of the lessons being created on a weekly basis can be found here, the curriculum on BeReady is available here and a demonstration of the BeReady learning platform is here.
