New headteacher appointed for Green Wrythe Primary School

Karen Jones has been appointed to the post of Headteacher.

We are delighted to announce that Karen Jones has been appointed as the next Headteacher of Green Wrythe Primary School, Carshalton.

Karen will take over from current Headteacher, Anne Claxton, when she becomes Headteacher of Albourne C of E Primary School in ​Sussex in April 2019.  Anne and Karen will work work closely together over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition.

Karen has significant experience as a senior leader in a range of diverse settings, including two years as Head of School with The Federation of St Elphege's and Regina Coeli Catholic School. 

Karen has a proven track record, she was instrumental generating the improvements that enabled Regina Coeli to move from an Ofsted judgement of Special Measures to Good.
