Claire Ward

I joined Greenshaw Learning Trust in 2022 as a School Improvement Lead for Primary English after working in school leadership and ITE. 

I have always been passionate about quality teaching and learning of English as a gateway to personal and academic success for all pupils, whatever their background. At GLT, I have been able to support others to improve outcomes.  

My role is incredibly fulfilling, offering the opportunity to collaborate with amazing leaders and teachers to develop research-informed English provision across diverse schools.  I enjoy the variety of work and being involved at a strategic and individual, personalised level. The #alwayslearning approach is a fantastic ethos, supporting our schools, my leadership journey and contributing to improvements in English across the Trust.
