Clara joined us in 2024 as the Behaviour and Culture School Improvement Lead, while also maintaining her role as Assistant Headteacher and SENCo.
I joined the Greenshaw Learning Trust in September 2024 as the Behaviour and Culture School Improvement Lead, while also maintaining my dual role as an Assistant Headteacher and SENCo at one of our Trust junior schools.
My role as a School Improvement Lead is incredibly fulfilling because of the emphasis on genuine collaboration. I find it deeply rewarding to work alongside different leadership teams to identify and implement support strategies that foster long-term, sustainable improvement. It isn’t just about short-term results; it’s about building a foundation where positive culture and behaviour can thrive across the entire trust.
What I really value about Greenshaw and what continues to inspire me is the trust’s commitment that every child matters and every child belongs. In both my school based leadership and my trust wide improvement work, I am empowered to ensure that this isn't just a sentiment, but a reality for every student. Being part of a team that is so dedicated to inclusivity and belonging is a professional privilege.
