Greenshaw Learning Trust Celebrates Strong Year 13 Results

Greenshaw Learning Trust is delighted to celebrate a strong set of post-16 results this year, with our best results to date across both A Levels and Applied qualifications.

Students across the Trust have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results, and we are immensely proud of their dedication, resilience and commitment. We would like to congratulate all of our students, as well as their families and the staff who have supported them throughout their post-16 education.

Izzy Ambrose, Director of Secondary Education at Greenshaw Learning Trust, said:

We are absolutely delighted with this year's outcomes, which reflect the hard work, determination and commitment of our students, families and staff. Achieving our best results across both A Levels and Applied qualifications is a fantastic achievement, and every student should feel incredibly proud of what they have accomplished. We would like to congratulate them all and thank our dedicated staff and families for the support they have provided. We look forward to seeing our students flourish as they take their next steps, whether that is into further education, employment, apprenticeships or other exciting opportunities, and we wish them every success for the future.

Strong results across the Trust

Schools across Greenshaw Learning Trust are celebrating a year of significant success and, in many cases, record-breaking performance. Several schools achieved their strongest-ever A Level outcomes, with grades at A*–B and A*–C rising year on year, while others saw notable increases in average grades or maintained the exceptionally high standards achieved in previous years. Vocational and applied qualifications have been a particular highlight, with a number of schools reporting that the majority, and in some cases all, of their BTEC and vocational students achieved Distinction-level grades.

These achievements have been matched by outstanding destinations. Students are progressing to a wide range of universities, including many Russell Group institutions, with some going on to study highly competitive courses such as Medicine. Others have secured sought-after degree apprenticeships with major employers or are moving directly into employment and training opportunities in sectors ranging from engineering to financial services.

Many schools saw a large proportion of students secure places at their first-choice university, reflecting the ambition and success of this year's cohort. For Henley Bank High School, this year also marked a particularly significant milestone, with its first Sixth Form cohort receiving their results and setting a strong benchmark for future years.

Looking ahead

These outcomes mark an important milestone as students move on to the next stage of their lives. We are excited to see what they achieve in the years ahead and wish every one of them the very best for the future.
