A Collective Achievement

The resounding success of the GLT Athletics Championships reflects the dedication and collaborative spirit of our entire community. The overwhelmingly positive feedback speaks volumes about the day's impact, with participants such as Issy Woods noting that "it was evident how much hard work and thought had gone into the day."

Behind the scenes, countless colleagues contributed to making this event possible - from managing logistics and officiating events to providing pastoral support and guiding students throughout the competition. Their combined efforts ensured everything "ran so smoothly" and created an environment where every student could perform at their best. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed, both in the lead-up to the event and on the day itself.

GLT is committed to fostering opportunities for partnership, and the Athletics Championships will become an annual fixture in the trust’s calendar. Building on this year’s success, we are already looking forward to bringing the community together once again to celebrate athletic excellence and teamwork.
