Robinswood and Moat Primary Academies to Become Hillside Primary School in September 2025
Robinswood Primary Academy will be renamed Hillside Primary School from 1st September 2025, following its amalgamation with Moat Primary Academy.
This change marks an exciting new chapter for the community, reflecting a fresh start for the united school and the new identity being built. Hillside Primary School was chosen through a collaborative process that invited input from both school communities. The logo concept was created by pupils from Robinswood and Moat, symbolising the two communities coming together from either side of the hill.
The level of engagement and input from stakeholders was outstanding, and the school extends its thanks to everyone who contributed their views and suggestions.
Rebekah Millward, Headteacher, said: “This is a significant and positive step forward for our community. Hillside Primary School represents the journey we are on together, to provide an inclusive, high-quality education in a nurturing and inspiring environment. We’re grateful for the support and enthusiasm shown throughout this process.”
As part of the transition, all changes to school uniform and branding resulting from the new name and logo will be provided at no cost to current pupils.
