Wildmoor Heath School Celebrates Positive Ofsted Inspection

We are proud to celebrate the outcome of Wildmoor Heath Primary School's Ofsted inspection on 19 May 2026.

Inspectors awarded Strong Standard judgements for Early Years and confirmed that safeguarding standards are fully met, with Expected Standard judgements achieved across Achievement, Attendance and Behaviour, Curriculum and Teaching, Inclusion, Leadership and Governance, and Personal Development and Wellbeing.

The report highlights the positive impact of leaders, staff, Greenshaw Learning Trust, and the wider school community, praising the school's inclusive ethos, ambitious curriculum, strong family relationships, and commitment to ensuring every pupil feels valued, safe, and supported.

Pupils thrive in the school's warm environment, which they describe as a "small school with a big heart" - enjoying school, behaving well, and embodying the values of the "Wildmoor Way" in a calm, orderly atmosphere.

Early Years was identified as a particular strength, with children making a highly positive start through high expectations, purposeful teaching, and strong partnerships with parents and carers, building independence, curiosity, and confidence.

Reading was highlighted as a notable success, with highly effective teaching enabling younger pupils to read quickly and confidently, and older pupils to leave as fluent, enthusiastic readers with attainment typically above national averages.

Inclusion was recognised as a key strength, with every child feeling welcome regardless of need or background. Leaders and staff know pupils and families well, effectively removing barriers to learning, with specific praise for support provided to pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils, and those known to social care.

Inspectors also commended the school's commitment to personal development, with pupils building resilience, confidence, and strong moral values, while learning to keep safe, build healthy relationships, and contribute to their community.

Clare Vincent, Headteacher, said: "We are incredibly proud of this report and the recognition it gives to our wonderful pupils, dedicated staff and supportive families. It reflects the caring and inclusive culture that makes Wildmoor Heath such a special place to learn and grow. The report celebrates many of our strengths, particularly our Early Years provision, reading curriculum and commitment to inclusion. We remain ambitious for every child and will continue to build on this success as we strive for even greater outcomes for all pupils."

Will Smith OBE, CEO of Greenshaw Learning Trust, said: "Wildmoor Heath is a school where pupils are supported, challenged and encouraged to achieve their best. This report reflects the commitment of Clare and her team, who have built a culture of high expectations, kindness and ongoing improvement. We are pleased that inspectors have recognised the school's strengths and look forward to supporting its continued development."
