Sallyann Hummel
Sallayan has been with us since 2019 and has grown from Finance Officer to Senior Finance Officer, now undertaking a secondment with the Finance Business Partner team while supporting the expansion of our shared services across 40 schools.
It’s been seven years since I joined Greenshaw. I joined from a local Primary School where I had been a TA for ten years. I decided it was time to use my finance Qualifications . Being part of the original Shared Service Finance team has been a massive learning curve; we started with about 9 schools, and now we are a team of 40+ supporting 40 schools!
I spent four years as a Finance Officer before stepping up to Senior Finance Officer in this time the changes to finance were extensive new systems and lots of new schools. I’m currently enjoying a secondment with the Finance Business Partner team. Although the journey hasn’t been without its challenges adapting to new systems and such rapid growth is never easy. I love being part of a company that is constantly progressing. The best part is knowing that every day, our work helps provide a better future for the Children in our schools
