Widden Primary pupils share gratitude to key workers during Ramadan

This Ramadan, Widden Primary School reached out to Gloucester Royal Hospital to help recognise the incredible dedication of Muslim key workers.

Pupils created cards and messages of appreciation to thank staff who continue to care for others while observing fasting and working long shifts.

This thoughtful initiative reflects the spirit of Ramadan: compassion, gratitude and community. It also offers our pupils a meaningful opportunity to recognise the contributions of others and show kindness in action.

Widden sends its warm wishes to the wider GLT community, hoping this special time continues to inspire shared humanity, respect, and solidarity with those in need.
