Today I found myself reflecting on the journey that I have taken, and more importantly, the leader I am. Moving from Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, and ultimately Headship within Greenshaw Learning Trust, is no longer just an abstract ambition—it is a clear, purposeful path that I have successfully and proudly taken. What motivates me most is the opportunity to create an environment where both children and staff can thrive. I lead a school where expectations are high, where people feel supported, and where excellence is the norm, not the exception. One thing that stands out clearly to me is the level of support I receive from everyone in Greenshaw Learning Trust, and how this support is shaping not just my role, but my confidence and identity as a Headteacher.
