GLT Winter concerts

The Greenshaw Learning Trust’s Regional Winter Concerts in Surrey and Bristol were memorable celebrations of music, creativity and collaboration, bringing together students and staff from across our family of schools.

Held at Charterhouse School in Surrey and Clifton College in Bristol, the concerts showcased an outstanding range of performances, including choral pieces, solo performances and readings. Students performed with confidence and professionalism, delivering evenings of impressively polished music that reflected months of dedication, rehearsal and hard work.

Young people from schools across the Trust, including Blaise High School, Barnwood Park, Five Acres High School, Gloucester Academy, Henley Bank High School, Holmleigh Park High School, Scott Medical and Healthcare College, Stoke Damerel Community College, Yate Academy, Brakenhale School, Broadwater School, Coombe Wood School, Greenshaw High School, Hartland High School, Park House School, Oakbank School, Orchard Park High School and Wallington County Grammar School, took to the stage, highlighting the depth of talent and the strong culture of the arts across GLT.

The exceptional standard of performance was a powerful reminder of the creativity, commitment and teamwork of our students, as well as the positive impact of collaboration across schools.

We would like to thank all staff who supported rehearsals and gave their time and expertise, both in the lead-up to the concerts and on the evenings themselves. Their encouragement and preparation played a vital role in the success of both events.

Particular thanks go to Sam Goodway, Josie Mingay and Emma Green for their leadership, organisation and tireless work in bringing the concerts together.

Finally, thank you to everyone who attended and supported our students in Surrey and Bristol. These concerts were proud moments for our schools and a fitting celebration of the talent across the Greenshaw Learning Trust.
