Success for KS5 Students Across Greenshaw Learning Trust

Students and staff across the Greenshaw Learning Trust’s sixth forms are celebrating a successful results day, with the overwhelming majority of students securing the grades required to progress to their chosen next steps - whether that be university, an apprenticeship, or further education.
This year's results reflect the exceptional achievements of GLT students, whose commitment, perseverance, and ambition have brought them to this point. Across our schools, students taking A Levels received an average attainment grade of a B, with 29% of students achieving grades of AAB in at least 2 facilitating subjects. Meanwhile, the average attainment grade achieved by vocational students was a Distinction.
At a Trust level, we have seen marked improvements in outcomes, and we are immensely grateful to the dedicated and expert staff who have played a pivotal role in this success. The successes are a testament to the collective drive of our school communities. We also acknowledge the meticulous planning, analysis and organisation behind the scenes that ensure results day runs smoothly, and thank those who facilitate that.
Izzy Ambrose, Director of Secondary Education at Greenshaw Learning Trust, commented:
We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our students this year. Their results reflect the dedication, effort, and resilience shown by students, staff, and families alike. These outcomes mark the culmination of years of learning and open the door to exciting opportunities ahead - whether that be at university, in college, or in high-quality apprenticeship programmes. At the Greenshaw Learning Trust, we firmly believe there are no limits to what our students can accomplish. We congratulate all of them and wish them every success in the next stage of their journey.
