Myles Preston appointed as Headteacher of Barnwood Park School

Myles brings a wealth of leadership experience. He is currently serving as Vice Principal at Ark Blake in Croydon and was previously an Associate Vice Principal at Harris Invictus, an academy rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. Prior to his decade in education, he built a distinguished career as a commercial lawyer, working with two highly regarded law firms before transitioning to education. We are confident that under Myles’ leadership, Barnwood Park School will continue its journey of sustained improvement.

We extend our gratitude to Stephen Derry, who served as Interim Headteacher at Barnwood Park School over the past year while continuing in his role as Headteacher at Henley Bank High School, with the support of his SLT. His leadership has been instrumental in successfully overseeing the school’s transition into the Greenshaw Learning Trust and driving remarkable progress this academic year.
