Support for our Staff

The Greenshaw Learning Trust values the health and wellbeing of all our staff and appreciates that balancing everyday life, together with the requirements of work and home, can create pressures for all of us. To assist you in achieving this balance we have put an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) in place. Our EAP is provided by Work Place Options, an independent external organisation, which works to a robust professional code of strict confidentiality.

The EAP service is staffed by a team of highly trained and qualified professionals who are experts in fields such as well-being, family matters, relationships, debt management, workplace issues, consumer rights and much more. You can be confident that the information you receive is accurate, up-to-date and relevant to your particular circumstances. Staff can use this free and independent service on multiple occasions, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and support can be accessed by phone, email and the website.

If relevant and assessed to be helpful to your particular case, up to six confidential counselling sessions can be arranged either face to face, virtual or over the telephone.

As well as providing specific advice, Work Place Options hosts regular webinars and can provide fact sheets on key issues.  For example, the financial centre includes debt checklists and a financial health check.
