Success in Science event

Building a successful science department.

Last Thursday, science teachers from across the country – from Surrey to Somerset and from Derbyshire to Peterborough – descended on Broadwater School to discuss the principles upon which a successful science department is built.

With presentations on leadership from Assistant Director Patrick Farmbrough and Broadwater’s Chelsea Phillips, and on science-specific pedagogy from Orchard Park’s Ahmed Khattab and Sami Mohamed, along with Science School Improvement Lead George Duoblys, delegates were given a flavour of what makes GLT schools such happy and successful institutions.

We are always keen to expand our network further, so if you would like support in hosting similar events in your school, then please do get in touch.
