Park House School proposes to join the Greenshaw Learning Trust

Park House School in Newbury proposes to join the Greenshaw Learning Trust.

The Trustees of Transform Learning Trust are proposing that Park House School, in Newbury, should join the Greenshaw Learning Trust,  subject to due diligence and Regional School Commissioner approval.

The Trustees have been carefully considering the school’s future and evaluating its options and have concluded that the best way forward for Park House is for the school to become part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust.

Dr Coleen Jackson, Chair of Transform Learning Trust, said: “The Greenshaw Learning Trust shares our values and commitment to provide the best education for the local community. The Greenshaw Learning Trust has the experience and capacity to provide the support Park House needs, whilst building on the strengths of the school for the benefit of all our students and staff.”

Anne Spackman, Chair of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, said: “We are delighted that Park House School wants to join our Trust.  As part of the Greenshaw family, close collaboration with like-minded schools facing similar challenges will help Park House School be the local school of choice in which to work and learn.  Our schools will likewise benefit from Park House School joining us.”

As an academy in the Greenshaw Learning Trust, Park House will maintain its ethos and its place at the heart of its local community, whilst benefiting from quality support services and efficiencies that will ensure the school improves and provides the best start in life to all its students.

Subject to the necessary agreements being reached between the Transform Learning Trust, the Greenshaw Learning Trust and the Department for Education (DfE), it is expected that Park House School will join the Greenshaw Learning Trust on 1 September 2022.
